I've been stuck in a series for the last little while. This series is called Breakfast of Champions and gave me an opportunity to paint cereal in 12 different kinds of glasses usually associated with alcohol. It started with the book by Kurt Vonnegut; a phrase my mother used to quote.
Speaking of books, I enjoy incorporating them, especially ones I get from the library. Libraries are an amazing resource. This might start me on a stretch of stuffed animals.
Stuffed animals aren't the only toys I work with. It's fun to create scenarios for toys to live out. Beaker legos have shown up a lot in my recent work.
And sometimes I just like to play with a pun.
